Snocross kicked off the 2022 season in Shakopee, Minnesota at Canterubry Park. Due to the ongoing COVID pandemic, it has been two years since Snocross was able to make the annual stop at Canterbury Park. Needless to say, riders, crew, and fans alike were ready to get back to racing at the “Daytona” of Snocross.

This year also marks the second season in a row with a January start, opposed to kicking off the season Thanksgiving weekend in Duluth years past. The late start seems to be a good option as it provides ample time for athletes and crew to practice and prepare before diving head on into racing.

The track at Canterbury Park has always been one of the best in the series, and this weekend was no different. With sweeping corners, big air opportunities, technical rhythm sections, multiple lane choices, and fast straightaways, the riders and sleds had their work cut out for them. FXR athletes topped the podium 17 times over the weekend and brought home 44 total medals.
