Round 10 Daytona Supercross | Photo Report

March 15, 2018

by Dawn McClintock Since the year 1971 we have seen the infield of the famed Daytona Speedway converted into a supercross layout. An "indoors-meets-outdoors" kind of venue with a technical supercross track designed by local legend Ricky Carmichael. There is always something special about this round and plenty of well known names have been etched into the history book at Daytona. Let's take a look at some of our FXR athletes who lined up to compete under the big lights at Daytona Speedway.

Illinois native, Carter Gordon put on a good run but fell just short in the LCQ finishing 5th.
In the 450 LCQ, AJ Catanzaro fought hard but he too fell shy of getting into the final and finished 6th place.
The main event was probably a race that Jimmy Decotis would like to forget. A bad crash in the final left Decotis with fractured L2, L3 and some broken ribs. Heal up soon Jimmy! | BrownDog Wilson photo
Richard Jackson would go on to finish 20th in the main event.
Career best finish goes to Kyle Peters who took 6th in the 250 main.
Things are looking better and better every weekend for Peters. Congrats on a great ride Kyle!
This guy goes in and gets the job done every single weekend. Kyle Cunningham went on to finish the 450 main in 15th place.
See you in St. Louis!
