FXR Returns to Its Roots Through Snowmobile Hall of Fame Sponsorship and Guest Speaker Levi LaVallee During Ride with the Champs Induction Weekend in St. Germain, Wisconsin

Hugo, Minn. February 26, 2019 – FXR honored the past and gave a nod to the future as the recognized leader in snowmobiler outerwear helped usher in the newest members of the Snowmobile Hall of Fame (SHOF) in St. Germain, Wisconsin this past February 15th and 16th. The “Ride with the Champs” weekend celebrates the rich history of snowmobile competition, and FXR played a special role as a presenting sponsor of Friday night’s guest speaker Levi LaVallee.

FXR athlete Levi LaVallee was the featured guest speaker Friday evening during the 2019 Snowmobile Hall of Fame Ride with the Champs induction weekend.

Snowmobile racing has been an integral part of FXR’s success since day one when early prototype versions of FXR gear was given to terrain racers to evaluate. Not long after, other racers were asking FXR founder and president Milt Reimer about the gear and the lead-through-racing formula became a marketing and product development staple for the brand over the next 25-years.

“The company was founded on racing,” said Reimer who continues to use all forms of competition to elevate the brand both in snow and dirt product lines. “We are thrilled and honored to assist anyway we can with the Snowmobile Racing Hall of Fame.”

This year, the SHOF inducted terrain racer Todd Wolff, legendary engine tuner Richard Bahr, famed oval racing team the Goodwin Brothers Racing, and former Yamaha Race Team Manager Jim Kedinger. Plaques recognizing their contributions to the sport will be added to wall of fame inside the recently expanded SHOF Museum located just a few short miles outside the town of St. Germain.

The night prior to their induction, FXR and Polaris presented an Evening with Levi LaVallee where Levi shared stories and videos from his career including his world record long distance jump and the making of his incredible video filmed on the streets of St. Paul, Minnesota.
